Introduction:
If you are not a hardcore CM player, stop reading and change to another battle or scenario. This is a large and complex operation and will take the utmost of both players, to achieve a victory against an also experienced opponent.
After the failure of Market Garden and the destruction of the British Airborne division in vicinity of Arnhem, German High Command immediately respond with a counter offensive, to strike deep in the vulnerable Allied rear area.
Simultaneously a mechanized USA battalion is preparing an advance to cross the German border, in order to keep the momentum in the Allied offensive in West Europe.
So unaware 2 mechanized battalions are moving in an area covered with the first snow and within minutes the peaceful area will change into an intense and fierce battle, with hot steel penetrating armor!

Balance and Enjoyment
Your Scenario's are always Good Birt just ths one the coditions I described made it hard Work
Victory Conditions
First Battle was OK then 2/3 battles became coplicated as the river was frozen and the shallow Ford disapeared, the third battle when when it all melted the Shallow Fords disapeared also leaving the only wat across was the Bridges, making it hard work

Balance and Enjoyment
Overall a very good scenario. Plenty of options for each side. Well balanced.
Victory Conditions
Victory conditions are about right. Each side will have to play aggressively to secure enough flags to win.
Map & Terrain
The map could be reduced to about 75% of its current size, a lot of the map plays no part in the game because it's so big. Otherwise the map is a very good representation of the Ardennes.
Game Length
The length is just right.
Force Mix
Force mix is interesting and balanced. The first battle seems mostly to be light recce forces on a very large empty map, maybe bring some of the heavy German foces in during the first battle and then the American reinforcements in battles 2 and 3.
What I really liked about this scenario
Plenty of options for each side to attempt. Numerous avenues of advance, and the bridges allow certain operational plans for each side that can work or backfire.
What I really did not like about this scenario
Map seems a little too big.
