Situation: German Army Forces pushed the US troops back for almost two weeks now. In a small town at the Ardennes a US formation has taken shelter and prepares for their counter attack on the german defensive positions a few miles away. No one thought it possible the Germans had still enough power to break through so far. So it is no wonder as the impossible happens the GIs aren´t dug in and reinforcements aren´t to get. To their luck it is only a local onslaught. The Germans are in a similar situation albeit because of other reasons. So no reinforcements for them as well.
