Help: CMAK-MUNDIAL Battle Set-up - Dashammer75 - 04-18-2007

Can someone walk me threw the set up process. Once you get the .cmg file how do you load and retreive it so you can get to the purchase and fight screens. I have no clue.

I tryed to load in map editor and nothing happened.

Once you get the .cmg file place it in your QB maps section.

Load up CMAK
Select Start Battle
Quick Battle
Input the parameters that are on the CMHQ PL website ie. NA 41, May etc etc.
When it coms to choose map type select Import
Choose to import troops also when that flicks up
Now purchase your troops
Proceed as normal PBEM.

I think I've done it right,my opponent Gully sent me 001 and I bought my British forces and sent him 002.
I also sent a copy of 002 and my password to [email protected]

Incidentally I downloaded the full scen so that I could check out the deployment zones for both sides before buying and deploying my Brits, and I'd advise others to do the same because it kinda helps to know where the enemy is likely to be.. ;)
(put it in your cmak 'scen' folder then start it as 'hotseat' and check out each side)

And I presume we all finish playing the first game before switching sides and playing the mirror?

RE: Help: CMAK-MUNDIAL Battle Set-up - MGK(FGM) - 04-18-2007

Both games should be played simultaneously and it is nothing wrong to see setup zones for both sides

as in this example:

Stirlitz sets up the game and sends the first file (R1-Stirlitz-Kloss-01.txt) to Kloss while at the same time (hopefully) Kloss sets up the other game and sends the first file (R1-Kloss-Stirlitz-01.txt) to Stirlitz and so on.

RE: Help: CMAK-MUNDIAL Battle Set-up - PoorOldSpike - 04-18-2007

The rules say we can't buy the PzIVF.
Does that mean we CAN buy the Pz IVD/ E/ C/ ?

RE: Help: CMAK-MUNDIAL Battle Set-up - MGK(FGM) - 04-18-2007

Yes but max 2 platoons

* No pillboxes and bunkers allowed.
* No 150mm Infantry Guns allowed.
* No Matilda tanks allowed.
* No PzIIIH, PZIVF or PzIIF allowed.
* Not more than two platoons of PzIV tanks allowed.
* Any artillery pieces (guns of 20mm and larger calibers) purchased in addition to those imported with the map must have towing vehicles.

The reasons for the above-mentioned restrictions are historical, but they are also meant to prevent the game from being unbalanced in favour of one of the sides. Any player contravening any of the force restrictions will be disqualified.
