WWII History Magazine Letters - Don Fox - 05-27-2007 Check out page 8 of the July issue (Dispatches). Two of the three letters are from Blitz members. Guy De Young's letter was excellent. Check it out! Don RE: WWII History Magazine Letters - Panther - 05-27-2007 RE: WWII History Magazine Letters - Don Fox - 05-27-2007 Page 8 in the July issue of WWII History Magazine RE: WWII History Magazine Letters - Von Luck - 05-27-2007 Which direction should we look in Don ie web site. RE: WWII History Magazine Letters - Don Fox - 05-27-2007 It's not on the web site; it's in the magazine. They don't have an on-line version on their site. RE: WWII History Magazine Letters - Hobbes - 05-28-2007 What are the letters about? I don't think this magazine is available in the UK. RE: WWII History Magazine Letters - Von Luck - 05-28-2007 LOL We get nothing in the UK and if we do we pay through the nose for it tax tax tax. RE: WWII History Magazine Letters - Don Fox - 05-28-2007 My letter is a response to a recent article (March 07) the magazine published by Michael Reynolds; subject was the 1st SS PD's atack against the Bastogne relief corridor. Reynold's portrayed very little of the American perspective on the engagement (I find that he leans pro-German in his writing). I offered the American perspective in my response. Guy De Young's article was in response to a letter that appeared in the May issue. Guy did an excellent job of refuting many of the points raised by the author in regard to the American armored force. RE: WWII History Magazine Letters - Big Dawg - 05-28-2007 Hi Don. I stopped by Barnes n Noble to pick up some summer reading books for the kids. I saw the magazine & read your reply. What is the call sign of the other Blitz member? RE: WWII History Magazine Letters - Don Fox - 05-29-2007 Guy is Charlie 66....currently #10 in the CS ladder...and a very tough opponent! |
