Matrix CS and Vista - Jason Petho - 06-06-2007 Well, it was fixed, now it's buggered again. Hopefully this will be remedied ASAP. Thanks for your patience! Jason Petho RE: Matrix CS and Vista - Rupert - 06-06-2007 Hi Jason, Any idea on the time frame for the patch that will address the Vista issue? Are we looking at day's, month's....? We had assurances that the product was Vista compatible so this is very disappointing. With Rgds Thomas RE:Matrix CS and Vista - Jason Petho - 06-06-2007 Rupert Wrote:Hi Jason, Yea, it is truly disappointing for me as well. We are hoping for days. I was able to successfully download the CS electronic version and install it on my PC running Windows XP. CS appears stable (no bugs) and working fine. BTW... I have no plans to "upgrade" to Vista - too much of a memory hog IMO. Regards, - Mike RE: Matrix CS and Vista - Thor - 06-08-2007 Earl, I understand. But that doesn't address most of the points raised in my post, or explain why a new product would be released and mass marketed to consumers when it will not work on computers using the current Microsoft OS which is shipped on all new computers. Does the product packaging or Matrix website indicate Matrix CS is incompatible with Vista and will only run on older OS? If not, a lot of potential new CS players/Matrix customers with newer machines are going to be very frustrated when they purchase the game and find it won't work on their systems. That seems counter to Matrix's mission of expanding the gaming pool and tapping into a larger market via net distribution. Regards, Mark~Thor RE:Matrix CS and Vista - Jason Petho - 06-08-2007 |
