This is a BIG PROBLEM and requires ATTENTION NOW. - Copper - 04-10-2008 I can't install CMBB on my new Vista machine. The installer disk just will not be read by the new machine and seizes everything up. I have managed to install CMAK, but the text boxes are whited out and hard to make out, otherwise it is ok. I have the radeon ATI HD 2600 XT video card. Does this mean I am hooped and can't play CM on my nice new 24" video display? If anyone knows a fix or can help, it would be appreciated. Cheers! LOL The Radeon ATI cards are known for the whiteout bug... I got the mods from CMMODS and have them if anyone else needs them. I had to install CMBB on another computer and then move over to my new computer. Still working on that. Cheers! LOL Only kidding... what bugs me is I bought an Nvidia card to get the CM fog as my ATI card didnt I then bought Vista.... Vista doesnt display the fog in CM..!! |
