Help with new tournament - Montana Grizz - 09-29-2009 Tournaments in general take too long to complete. During the long drawn-out competition, competitors face personal situations and sometimes shear boredom and often withdraw from the tournament and/or "The Blitz". I'm considering starting a rapid-fire tournament in the near future wherein all scenario's are balanced, but only 10 turns with a time limit of 30 days. Perhaps call it the "Down and Dirty" tournament. Perhaps 12 players, one scenario per round (blind draw for sides) and winners play winners and losers play losers. Six rounds maximum.
