Hello! Yes quite a while.... Picking at random, how about May 1943, 4000 points ME, no air, 100 * 100 random map, 10% arty & no ammo units. One size zero purchase per inf company.... Sound okay? How about a civil war battle where we pick the same country? Seasons greetings Alex RE: WW2 game anyone? - 2ndLt_Fjun - 12-18-2010 Dance card full, or want another game? /Fred RE: WW2 game anyone? - brm_3k - 12-18-2010 (12-18-2010, 03:37 AM)2ndLt_Fjun Wrote: Dance card full, or want another game? Hi, Okay, what do you suggest? Two is enough for now, thanks Alex RE: WW2 game anyone? - Greybeard - 12-18-2010 (12-18-2010, 03:29 AM)brm_3k Wrote:(12-18-2010, 02:47 AM)Greybeard Wrote: Hey there.. been a while since we knocked heads.. 'red' vs 'green' to start just to make the flags look different.. and troop training turned off, but set to '70' or '75'.. which will keep both sides even in that manner. Purchase of troops is 'captured' not 'allies' maybe USA/USA in 1939?... end of depression but just before things go sour in Europe.. ought to be interesting setting - light tanks, trucks, mounted cavalry.. etc. 30 +/- turns, 30 +/- visibility? what do you think? I have just gotten the CD version of the game.. all slots above 5 are open, and 0,1,4 for the freebie PBEM slots. let me know.. Cheers! Let's ask Mr. Greybeard to set up a moderated game (I saw a very nice offer in another thread ;) )? He gets to choose forces on a 80x80 map? 4000 points? 25 turns & random visibility. Perhaps Soviet vs. USA in 1945? Otherwise I'm not very picky. Usually limit arty to 10% and prefer reasonably realistic forces. /Fred RE: WW2 game anyone? - Greybeard - 12-18-2010 (12-18-2010, 07:08 AM)2ndLt_Fjun Wrote:(12-18-2010, 03:59 AM)brm_3k Wrote:(12-18-2010, 03:37 AM)2ndLt_Fjun Wrote: Dance card full, or want another game? Hello Fred, Alex, Would be happy to set a moderated game for you.. work out the particulars and shoot me an e-mail.. need to know what save slot you need to use.. Cheers! Greybeard RE: WW2 game anyone? - Walrus - 12-18-2010 Just FYI You can play civil war / same nations without having to resort to Red v Green. The game just allocates P2 a Black Flag instead of the national flag. Easy.
