RE: World Cup Rugby - Antoni Chmielowski - 10-07-2007 I agree Rico, I hope the rest of the quarter finals are as good !:) RE: World Cup Rugby - McIvan - 10-07-2007 Oooops! We seem to have had a couple of upsets! Now how did that happen? Go the French!!!!!!!!!!! (my new favoured nation) RE: World Cup Rugby - Cole - 10-07-2007 Rico, I got to the point that I hoped the Wallabies wouldn't win, because if they did they didn't deserve it. I would say England was in top form the first thirty minutes but they just couldn't get a try. They were always dominate but just couldn't seal the deal and won by penalty kicks. I have to go for England but France will probably put them away. I'm kicking myself for not staying up and watching the FRA / NZ game. Must of been a good one. Go Fiji! RE: World Cup Rugby - jawsconan - 10-07-2007 yessssssssssssss!!!! I do not know how they did this, but they did it ! may be of the grey color of "all blacks" 's shirt. anyway, i watched the match and it was very balanced, particularly in second-half. after the english victory on australia, that is a second surprise, and let us a chance to reach the final, because i really think we can beat them in semi-final. cheers. Hubert RE: World Cup Rugby - falco - 10-07-2007 Ye Gods.....I waz in shock after the English defeated the Aussies but nothing prepared me for what happened in the next quarter-final! Only one thing to say as a proud Kiwi........WAAAARRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! - falco :hissy: RE: World Cup Rugby - falco - 10-07-2007 Rico (FGM) Wrote:Hmm... Norther Hemisphere sides not looking too good this time round. Hmm....you were saying mate?? - falco. RE: World Cup Rugby - Rico (FGM) - 10-07-2007 falc Wrote:Rico (FGM) Wrote:Hmm... Norther Hemisphere sides not looking too good this time round. Bloody 'ell -- what a turnaround! Great game, the NZ-France! Suddenly I'm more than a little nervous about the SA - Fiji game this afternoon. Maybe we can at least rely on the Argies??? They seem hungry enough to really want it! RE: World Cup Rugby - falco - 10-07-2007 Yep, I thought the Aussies deserved to lose as they did, apart from a few isolated times, play pretty horribly. However I didnt expect the All Blacks to go down in a repeat of eight years ago! Turning point waz McAlistair getting sent off in the 2nd half I think.....the French smelled blood & never looked back. My God, what a turn up for the books. Where do the All Blacks go from here?? - falco. RE: World Cup Rugby - Cole - 10-08-2007 I'm dying here. Can't see the South Africa / Fiji game live (taped game comes on in two hours). I figured that Fiji didn't have a chance so just kept up with the score with the live feature on the Rugby World Cup site. Fiji is putting on a game of it. I might have to stay up and watch this one... RE: World Cup Rugby - Antoni Chmielowski - 10-08-2007 I watched it mate - it is worth staying up to watch ! |
