With my Russian infantry pinned by Waleed's heavy artillery barrage, I have to edge my armour forward on its own, led by an armoured car to draw faust and schreck fire to make enemy infantry reveal its position.
It works, a faust comes flying out of the trees..

My Jagdtiger debuts to rave reviews in Bert Blitzkriegs railstation sector, accompanied by a Hetzer sheltering in the safety of its huge bulk.
BB's SU-100 gets in the first shot and misses. Yer had yer chance Charlie..

Herrbixx's last Tiger is barring my path to the hills outpost so I send my T-34/85's at it, it fired and missed so they clubbed it to death with partial pens..

This is Herrbixx's German gun that killed both my tanks (X's) in the previous screenshot, but now the Russians give it payback, my T-34/85 in the background can't quite see the gun so it starts area-firing into the ground next to it and a blast gets it later in the turn (inset), another example of this very useful CM area-fire tactic.
We know the gun was knocked out because its terrain panel (arrowed) went blank (think 'million-mile stare')
Also we can see the gun crew that was lifted bodily by the blast..

Handle Guns Responsibly
"The other guy is a bully. He threatens to beat the tar out of you, he makes you feel like a weak worm? A gun would make him back down? No, think again. He's going to laugh in your face, and then what are you going to do, shoot him? If you think so, then there are a whole lot of things wrong with your reasoning ability. The law says that you can't use that much force against a bully who might beat you up. Too many people think, "I'm afraid of him, so I will (threaten to) kill him." That is too much force. If there is a direct possibility that this person will kill you, then you can use a gun, but you had better be able to prove that you were about to die."

After being shooed away by my schreck guy after an earlier attack on the 3 Hetzers behind the house,Mangus's T-34/85 suddenly comes back for a second stab backed up by his mech infantry comrades and brews a Hetzer, taunting them with the cry- "daddy's home!" while the Hetzers are distracted firing at targets offmap to the right..

As my Russian battlegroup is caught up in the trees trying to regroup, Waleed's German infantry spring a surprise attack from behind, immobilising this one with a schreck..

Endgame screenshot shows the limit of my Russian advance towards Herrbixx's hills outpost (blue and red x's mark 2 dead Tigers and 2 dead T-34/85's, and circles mark 75mm Paks, one is dead), the Russian infantry is pinned in a clump of trees by small-arms, and the 4-strong group of T-34/85's and SU-100's in the centre has ground to a halt, guaranteeing a win for Herrbixx..
