RE: Germans ONLY "Little Saturn" No Russians Pls - Ratzki - 07-18-2009 Everyone has to have an opinion, lets see what you have to say, might be the beginnings of a bright new career.:chin: RE: Germans ONLY "Little Saturn" No Russians Pls - Glider - 07-18-2009 I think all reinforcement purchase points should be spent on AT assets and only if none can be purchased then on other things. RE: Germans ONLY "Little Saturn" No Russians Pls - cargol - 07-18-2009 I ll second that Ratzki,as we are still in the planning phase and final decisions will be made after our Planning conference. RE: Germans ONLY "Little Saturn" No Russians Pls - cargol - 07-18-2009 We have 6 reinforcements points and with these points for AT Gun purchase we have the following options: a)1 Heavy AT Gun Plt and 1point will be spared b)1 Med AT Gun Plt and 2points will be spared c) 2 Light AT Gun Plts and no points remaining I think that we should buy some art cause in the previus battle in several occasions art would be lethal for the Russkies as they were keen on advancing in open ground and in tight formations. Ur suggestions? RE: Germans ONLY "Little Saturn" No Russians Pls - Glider - 07-18-2009 I cant recall whether at this point 37mm ATGs have those slow attached oversized rifle(gun?)-grenades that can kill any tank. If they have then it might be worth buying them. Otherwise for me there is no doubt - 1 heavy ATG Plt and 1 point to spare. RE: Germans ONLY "Little Saturn" No Russians Pls - cargol - 07-18-2009 I think that the 37mm Gun is coming with this ammo but u have to take in mind that weather is going to be windy and due to low velocity of this round we ll face serius accuracy problems. RE: Germans ONLY "Little Saturn" No Russians Pls - cargol - 07-18-2009 Another point worth of notice is that only units with transport will have a chance to make it to battle for the Dusk phase. RE: Germans ONLY "Little Saturn" No Russians Pls - Pvt. Sofronije - 07-18-2009 Hi guys, I was out on leave and just got back from the Fatherland and this is the new reason to defend our Fatherland! Actually - two reasons... I agree we should take Heavy AT instead of mortars because we needed the mortars while we were fighting the Ruskies on the open ground and that's about to change. On the other hand I think we should send a platoon or two to try to cut of their southern line of supply and to set up an ambush and wait for their reinforcements. :chin: RE: Germans ONLY "Little Saturn" No Russians Pls - Glider - 07-18-2009 cargol Wrote:I think that the 37mm Gun is coming with this ammo but u have to take in mind that weather is going to be windy and due to low velocity of this round we ll face serius accuracy problems. Good point, so you think it is better to have 3x76mm guns than 6x37mm guns in that case? I tend to agree, but some of our units will be completely without AT weaponry in that case. 1 remaining point - 10 daisy chain mines? RE: Germans ONLY "Little Saturn" No Russians Pls - cargol - 07-19-2009 As the 37's are nothing but doorknockers against T34 i think that a 76 AT Gun Plt will be better. As for daisy chain mines could be usefull for area denying purposes. For this round our AT capabilities will be far more better than the previus one as we ll have 2 Heavy AT Gun Plts plus the remaining Guns from the previus battle. |
