RE: Falklands in the Baltic - Grumbler - 05-04-2007 My problem isn't a lack of knowledge on how to click on new, name a folder and then run the install program to that folder. My problem comes later, when I get a turn in and the file name is PBEM. PBEM where? In my C:program/shrapnel/spcammo/spmbt/pbem/*.* or in the C:MBT35/spmbt/pbem/*.* folder. To know that I have to start keeping records on who is playing what game in which folder. If I didn't, I would end up zipping the wrong files and sending them to the wrong players. Frankly, that is more trouble then I want to be involved with. I give my opponents enough grief without having them give the files special names. One must be nice to the Loyal opposition. There are still several players who want in, I think. So I will transfer to the half pay list and in a month or so, when I've finished the games I have in process, I'll install the 3.5 patch. And yes, I do know how to do that. Paul, yes. Basically ELINT, and sometimes a little crypto work, when the two overlapped. My math skills were not up to full time crypto work. I had friends on the Liberty and just missed being on the Pueblo. I switched cruises with a guy who had the Winter cruise and hadn't been to sea before. Winter cruises are NASTY in that part of the world. Not as bad as a Bering Sea cruise on a clapped out WW2 destroyer in January and February, but bad enough. You did at least one Korea tour didn't you? Imagine a Korean winter without the mountains as a wind break. I have my certificate from Davy Jones and figured I would be either in the hole, the sack or working on my UMD correspondence courses. RE: Falklands in the Baltic - wigam - 05-04-2007 Hi ulf version 3.5 installed, along with version 3, and two version 2.5's, along with version 2. I think i have too many. RE: Falklands in the Baltic - KraMax (SPR) - 05-04-2007 version 3.5 installed, and 3 installed game version 3.0 iam ready! RE: Falklands in the Baltic - wulfir - 05-08-2007 Ok, are we ready to go...? There are five scenarios for the initial round. Three larger, two smaller. For the three larger scenarios the Swedish side will have the option of deploying their forces themselves, before I deploy the Soviet forces. If they do not wish to do this I will deploy the Swedish forces myself. Wigam has the files. For the two smaller games I have deployed all forces. I hope both teams can still muster five commanders each... RE: Falklands in the Baltic - RedDevil - 05-08-2007 heading out to reinstall MBT for version 3.5 then LOL RE: Falklands in the Baltic - Stonefire - 05-08-2007 I will be out of town for a meeting (I Sweden actually ;)) from wednesday to Saturday noon (9/5-12/5).
