RE: Do you use Gridded Terrain mod - Ratzki - 06-24-2006 Grids are the only way to go for the snow covered maps. I find that I use them to get the lay of the land only. I use the LOS for measure as I am always inquiring distance relative to one of my units. I like playing using eye level only, it is the only way to get a feel for the game, it sure influences your decisions when giving orders. I think I have the rules somewhere on my computer if you can't find them.
