The opponent I hate the most is the AI. It is devious and does very unpredictable things like shelling areas that are even close to your troops just to throw you off! Personally I think it cheats as anything that is part of the program must be able to see your troops anyway! The main reason why I dont play it (him? her?) anymore!

For sheer murderous overrun russian style its Jad all the way.

For Yank Elan, with the big tanks making me pay its Yogi.

For giving me a bloody nose on the way down its Tank Jockey (persistance pays off)

And Sentry for serious German attitutude

I havent played many of the other big guns but I oneday hope to.

But the one who made me scream till i was blue in the face with frustration because every move i made got me shot is Model.

Hmm - lets see..

Hawks - as a previous player said - it was not 'if' you'd lose, but how badly.. I played 3 games with him before life got him.. he was always a great source of info about the game.

Yogi - have played twice so far.. only reason I didn't lose (completely) was because my backfield defences were numerous enough to keep him off my CP's and we weren't playing for flags/points.. otherwise it would have been a resounding defeat..

JP - only 2 games complete so far - a team game where the US airpower took out nearly all of his team artillery leaving them with little ability to suppress Kiwi and my troops.. the other game where JP's russians cornered my Germans in a stand of trees.. by the time we were done all my cooks and bottle washers were history also..

wulfir.. never underestimate the value of massed Italian troops commanded by a great leader..

Why do I come back? - I learn more from these sorts of battles than romping over my opponents..

a good player is one who wins with anything, so if you can win with the italians then thats gotta be good.

You are correct there. Some players study a countries forces and learn all of the in's and out's of the units and how best to employ them, this makes them very lethal (and there is nothing wrong with that). However, once taken out of their element they do become quite ordinary.

So if you can play with any force, and still knock it out of the park, then my hat is off to you.
