RE: 50mm mortars - Lord Bane - 11-07-2006 Soldier, Don't listen to those guys. Blast away with your mortar. He he. Lord Bane RE:50mm mortars - McIvan - 11-07-2006 Soldier Wrote:Thanks McIvan!More or less a supression weapon, yeah, and quite valuable in that role, particularly supressing HMGs. Two Russian 50mm, with their high ammo supply, will usually take out a gun or opposition mortar given time. RE:50mm mortars - Kelen - 11-08-2006 Peek Wrote:They also work quite well against soft targets in woods, because of the treeburst effect. Didn't know they'd modelled that. Does that apply to all artillery? RE: 50mm mortars - raz_atoth - 11-08-2006 Yes it does,Kelen. RE:50mm mortars - Soldier - 11-08-2006 RE: 50mm mortars - Lord Bane - 11-10-2006 I await the Human Wave attack!!! Bane RE: 50mm mortars - Soldier - 11-10-2006 Not sure about that.. Why order my men on a suicidal mission? We shall confer with uncle Stalin on that one.. :-) RE: 50mm mortars - Dobie - 11-12-2006 I'm using the 50mm mortars to great effectiveness in a current match, even managed to light a building on fire after 2 or 3 rounds of constant firing :smg:. RE: 50mm mortars - Cpt Courageous - 11-12-2006 Must have been used as the officers privy. All that methane is highly volatile. RE: 50mm mortars - Kil Roy - 11-13-2006 I have use small mortars to button up tanks so other troops can get near the tanks. Works ok for that. Open top targets move out when mortar rounds start falling too. |
