RE: trivia - Grumbler - 04-23-2007 From the way it's smoking I was going to say Paul's stove. Cooking up some sliders for his Black Marines. That is considerate, since dying on an empty belly is rough, even when you're digital:chainsaw: RE:trivia - retired from gaming - 04-23-2007 wulfir Wrote:Maciej, is it some re-enactment of the 1st Polish Armoured Division...? Ulf, I saw it today for the first time. No much info as I couldnt spend to much time at the show. AFAIK this particular vehicle fought in Italy, I dont know which polish unit exactly. And I dont know which reenactors group it belongs to. We defintely have Sosabowski's parachute brigade group, and I think 1st armoured as well. RE: trivia - Yogi - 04-23-2007 Explanation: Have you never heard the expression, " a dingo ate my baby"?... it was from a movie, supposedly based on a true story set in australia where a dingo snatched a baby from a couple on vacation.....a play on words, dingo (wild dog) vs dingo (fighting vehicle)....american humor? ok, maybe it's bad humor, letting the populus decide.... RE: trivia - retired from gaming - 04-24-2007 I didnt know the expression, but I guessed right :) |
