How could Vietnam possibly be worked into the MC system? It seems to me that the nature of the combat and the operations would not be conducive to mile-wide hexes.

I guess there'd have to be some formulation for partisan-like activity, ala Minsk, but more deadly. Then there'd have to be accommodations for the extremely rugged and dense terrain involved in much of the war. Urban warfare would be so abstracted as to be nearly meaningless, I would imagine. (The city of Hue would be, what? A hex or two large?)

Forgive me if the MC system already has an infrastructure for these issues. I only have the ME'67 game, and it doesn't seem to cover any of these points.

Vietnam was done in the Squad Battles series. I think Liebchen is right that this conflict is best modeled in a small unit game engine.
