RE: Guadalcanal - Adam Parker - 06-14-2007

Hank is beauty important to you?

If so CaW has the goods in that department - not gob smacking but modern.

I've been trying to mod the graphics of Naval Campaigns including Guadalcanal now for a while, because they are a bit bland but it seems the key to that door is a secret! The sea is really plain and Savo really green!

Another consideration is whether you'd like to command lots of units? Guadalcanal has them. And with that comes lots of scenarios too.

I haven't exhausted CaW yet. It's a game you'll actually want to play both sides of which is very rare. But IIRC 7 scenarios only, will mean the need for a random generator soon. Though the editor seems very accessible and hell, it is very easy to get your butt kicked by the AI and want a replay.

Remember, ships in Naval Campaigns are textbook style tear drops. I like 'em, some don't but I do hate the background color of the sea!
