RE: Combat Mission Shock Force - Easymeat - 07-28-2007 What's all the fuse, it's not that great. If any one wants to tcp or pbem just send an email. RE: Combat Mission Shock Force - Colonel Talvela - 07-28-2007 the controls are so different than all the CMx1 games, it is hard to get used to. Still trying to finish a game. I started the campaign, but just didnt know what I was doing so I figured I would save that for later. Now I am playing a QB with syrian infantry attacking a stryer group on a small map. Fun so far. It is definitely cool watching the 40mm stryer with the auto-grenade launcher blowing my hapless syrians to pieces. RE: Combat Mission Shock Force - Fubar - 07-28-2007 Your spot on about the controls being different....still there's lots of cool new unit info to sink your teeth into. And i damn near jumped out my seat when a Syrian ATGM took out the APC i was following. :smg: RE: Combat Mission Shock Force - MGK(FGM) - 07-28-2007 I like it :) most important is that it is still CM - new tactics, new graphics but still good old CM :) RE: Combat Mission Shock Force - Tanker - 07-29-2007 I'm just playing the demo and I'm liking it so far. RE: Combat Mission Shock Force - Copper - 07-29-2007 Still wouldve preferred a WW2 setting... :) RE: Combat Mission Shock Force - Smashing(FGM) - 07-29-2007 i think this will fill any void untill the WW2 version comes out..imagine what that'll be like..Shock Force is great though..did you guys download it from Battlefront or is it Paradox RE: Combat Mission Shock Force - Fubar - 07-29-2007 I got it from Battlefront, it only took about 25mins to download it. RE: Combat Mission Shock Force - Tanker - 07-29-2007 Depends on your connection I guess. I used the gamershell link on the BFC site. I had about 550kbs, so it didn't take too long. RE:Combat Mission Shock Force - Tanker - 07-29-2007 Bootie Wrote:Still wouldve preferred a WW2 setting... :) That will come I suppose. Meanwhile it's a nice change and a chance to get acquainted with modern weapons. |
