RE: Should we award ribbons? - Tide1 - 10-15-2007 The more ribbons the better Randy does have a bucket load of medals RE: Should we award ribbons? - Fokkov - 10-15-2007 Actually i'm thinking dusting off some maps i have laying on a shelve to got hold of some of these ribbons:chin: RE: Should we award ribbons? - RedDevil - 10-15-2007 Ah comrades LOL Sadly my family doesn't see the appreciation for all these medals.. I have resorted to placing name tags on them so I can identify them easier.. :P Chris I know I was supposed to draft up something after we talked but current RL events are taking a toll for the moment, So we'll go with the intital ones unless there's something we should change to ID them better? RE: Should we award ribbons? - klanx171 - 10-16-2007 whats that napoleon said about bits of ribbon? RE: Should we award ribbons? - Stonefire - 10-17-2007 Ah - ribbons - and maybe a nice bow for my hair (but I don't have any hair ) Nay! I say with the Danish poet - Peter Andreas Heiberg - from 1790: ”Orders you hang on idiots – Only the aristocrats are awarded ribbon and star... However, if one has brains you rather do without ribbon and star.” Just my opinion |
