RE: X-Box 360 or Playstation III - Copper - 12-04-2007 Yeah thats what I mean... its fine at first but it gets old quick. RE: X-Box 360 or Playstation III - RedDevil - 12-04-2007 We bought an Xbox Elite 3 days after they released them, it lasted 3 weeks and took a poop.. 1 week later we had a new replacement unit and have had no problems with the unit and it came with a 3 year warranty deal as well as an extra month of Xbox live. Xbox live accounts are about $4 bucks a month if you buy them in 13 month packs. The HD DVD player attachment is a sweet deal for $179.00 and you get 5 free HD DVDs with it. I think Blu ray is going to become a past venture as the costs are higher than HD DVDs and the picture is not as good (IMHO). Sony did Blu Rays to try and stop DVD piracy, but I think they alienated the rest of the consumers as well. RE: X-Box 360 or Playstation III - Mike Abberton - 12-04-2007 Has anybody tried Mass Effect for the Xbox 360, yet? It looks incredible. Almost makes me want to buy my first console since I owned an Atari 2600 eons ago. Mass Effect is an awesome game, it has a few niggles like texture pop up and frame rate dips but then it's meant to be an adult RPG not an FPS. It's a quantum leap over KOTOR, the facial animations are excellent. RE: X-Box 360 or Playstation III - Koen - 12-04-2007 damn guys....8 to 1 in favour of the X-box....:eek1: |
