RE: CMx2 Teaser - Hedgehog - 02-09-2009

That sounds good, even if they follow part of the old format at least more people will be able to play the games.....Kicking vista problem into touch

cheers Ted

RE: CMx2 Teaser - Soldier - 02-10-2009

I checked the web site, read the article acompanying the pic in it's entirity and all I get is the falowing facts.
The title of the new project is ; "World War Two Wetern Front (Combat Mission game).
The one photo is proof that something is in the works.
The game will use The "We go" principle.
There is absolutely no mantion, as to when the game is expected to be released.
They do want us to hang around for the next ten years with them, etc.
I hope that doesn't mean, ten years for the game to get completed.. :-)

RE: CMx2 Teaser - Der Kuenstler - 02-10-2009

Well good because I tried the TOW demo and it totally lacks the appeal of the CMX1 series for me, and Shock Force never has interested me enough even to try the demo.

RE: CMx2 Teaser - Copper - 02-10-2009

Well I was on gamersgate today and seen Shock Force for £8.

What the hell I will give it another go after patching her up to v1.11.

RE: CMx2 Teaser - British Tommy - 02-10-2009

I agree with Bootie. All well and good having nice 'eye candy' but it's the actual game engine that's the important part. I would rather have crappy graphics and a great game engine with a good AI.

BF would be cutting it's own throat if their next WW2 game didn't have wego as they damn well know most WW2 gamers prefer it to RT.
Saying that though, look how Steve has treated the WW2 fans in the past
