RE: Tactical Challenge #1 - Patton - 09-05-2009

A quick question. You say "one turn" only. Does that mean only the German turn, or will the results by affected by a following American turn (by you, I presume)?

It will clearly make a difference to how one proceeds if we have to be prepared for a counter-attack, versus being free to end up in awkward and untenable positions.

RE: Tactical Challenge #1 - Kru - 09-05-2009

There is no counterattack from the American side, so you don't have to worry. In that situation points stay unchanged on same turn whether you look from German or American side.

RE: Tactical Challenge #1 - Kru - 09-09-2009

FINAL RESULTS

1st CILLMHOR (27) >Ger 170/34< >US 180/17<

2nd SAPPER (31) >Ger 160/18< >US 190/17<

3rd CURRAHEE (34) >Ger 170/32< >US 180/8<

4th PATTON (46)

5th AMNESIA (55)

6th DESAIX (70)

A few final words.
In this battle Cillmhor and Currahee were very close to each other, but Currahee had too much losses, more that Sapper, without inflicting much damage to the enemy. All resulted in differrent US variable score.
I'm glad that you all took part in this challenge. Hope you enjoyed that. I can assure there will be more, next month most likely. I'd like to see more people in it, the better challange there will be.

As above:
CILLMHOR 30pts (badge)
SAPPER 20pts
CURRAHEE 10pts

Thank you all

Thanks for setting up the challenge, and I look forward to the next one. They will liven up the MB, and I still love this game engine, despite its age.

RE: Tactical Challenge #1 - Currahee - 09-14-2009

Cillmhor's Badge is awarded; congratulations!
