Peter,

I understand your frustration, but were the games not restored? Was the player not sanctioned? It is time to let it go.

If someone bothers you, the way to move forward is not to throw gasoline on the embers by calling them names. Everyone is entitled to momentary lapses in judgment, but lets not compound the problem by keeping the conflict needlessly alive.

Regards,

Jim

The day I stumbled onto the Blitz was the luckiest day of my wargaming life!
The Blitz has opened up a whole new world of gaming fun for me. I consider the opponents I have found here to be true friends. Win with grace and lose with honor, is the lesson I have learned here.

What the Blitz is to me is a place to meet and compete.

It is a home away from home. I have met some many excellent people of character and many people who are characters.

I have have enjoyed gaming and debating with every single person here.

I look forward to more of the same.

Good gaming to all.

As a newbie, I am hoping to find answers to questions that are asked by myself and others and to have them answered in a mature respectful way.

I am also looking forward to meeting and gaming with some of the best players in the world. If a friendship comes along that would be serendipitous.

I trust I am not hoping for to much!

Anything I can help you with Cats please don't hesitate to ask. I enjoy helping others understand aspects of the the game.

I look forward to when we can have a game.

Not all all. All reasonable requests.

Thanx!

Where else can a guy go from a mere nothing to a mere Assistant Ladder Commander in the blink of an eye. I enjoy the comraderie here, the gaming, even the moderating. Most of all, though, I'm enjoying my new ALC uniform. Red with purple striped leggings, gold leather boots, belt and matching commander's cap. I'm hoping it brings me as much respect here at the Blitz as it might with the lights turned down low here at the homefront "...but sweetheart... I'll wear the uniform~"

Great group of guys here.

As well as the friendships I have formed around the world the Blitz has enabled me to study many of the great battles that took place in WW!!. This is why I have favourite designers and don't play hypotheticals.
I now understand a bit more about the amazing battle of Targul Frumos, Arnhem, and the Jungle via the Campaign game of Kokoda to quote but a few.
I also understand more about the handling of Armour and the diifficulties of command and have studied the battles of the great ones.
I have rather specialised on the murderous war in Russia which was so terrible. But all war is terrible and I have learnt from assaulting Japanese bunkers why so many Australians (and Americans) were killed attacking them.

My thanks to the expert designers and the club officials who have this 10 year old game survive in the comptitive world of gaming

For a couple of years I had been playing against the AI and had technical or other issues with the game that this site helped me with alot. The info and downloads are free to the public. To me this shows a commitment by it's members.

When I finally became a member it changed everything. It made what I thought was a good game into a great one. Man the butt whippings I took from you guys at first! But I learned/still learning so much that it has made me much better. And while I was taking those whippings those opponents freely offered advice.

Like alot of members here I play a certain group on a regular basis because I prefer very large scenarios and that is not for everyone. But I try and mix it up as much as possible and try new people and I encourage new members to do the same as this helps alot with your development.

Anyway playing people from all over the planet has enriched my life and I hope to be doing this till I become worm dirt.

Happy Holidays
Tim (Montana Mud)
