RE: Vietnam II - Micha - 04-05-2014 Hello Stejones 82, i dont think you will see a Vietnam 2 SB Game and i will tell you why. I know i dont have any rigths to judge about the roundbased games fancommunity and thats not my intend. The big problem the roundbased wargamescene has is that most players are singlesided interested in ww2. Belive me i know what i say. For years i"m creating mods for the old game Peoples General. The numer of downloads per month for ww2 is almost the double as for al other mods together. A Vietnam 2 game will not find enough purchasers, thats the problem. I"m really glad we have John Tiller and HPS games. They are almost the only ones who has a heart for fans of the smaller wars like 1812 ,Falkland ,Vietnam and others. RE: Vietnam II - Outlaw Josey Wales - 04-06-2014 A title with larger battles would be great. 1st Brit at Arnhem, 82nd at Nijmegen, 101st at Eindhoven, a scenario connecting all three into one large battle, Dien Bien Phu, Hue, St. Vith, Bastogne, KG Peiper, plenty areas in Normandy. I'm sure there are plenty others as well that would also make great team games. Random battles up to Div sized would also be great, especially if one could get the actual divisions rather than generic ones. |
