Hi, I have just done a very quick test and recon spotting can be done by a unit in Travel mode - I would be careful as any return opportunity fire will be more effective as your spotting unit is in T mode. I'm not sure if being in travel mode makes any difference to the effectiveness of the spotting attempt - I suspect no difference - but I'm not sure. C RE: English tanks wont not move? - ComradeP - 01-29-2016 If you can't assault when you select a unit or stack and click on the target hex, you may have found a bug. You shouldn't have to do it in the difficult way wildb wrote down. RE: English tanks wont not move? - Compass Rose - 01-29-2016 Is this the correct scenario? #0802_01: Kampfgruppe Fröhlich - German Ingenuity If so, I just ran two tests and I was able to move British armor into objective hex (8,10) both in "T" mode and also while deployed, with no problem. I did however, find it interesting that it is only a 8 turn scenario and the British has no units on the map until turn 2. Has anyone else noticed that also? It as if the British side only has 7 turns while the German side has 8 turns. RE: English tanks wont not move? - ComradeP - 01-29-2016 Quote:Has anyone else noticed that also? There are a number of small scenarios where one side is likely to run out of time, though in this case the units involved are small which gives you some chance of removing them from the hexes they hold before time runs out and the side likely to run out of time is the Axis. The victory conditions are also not too harsh, as if you remove the pionier unit from the 25 point objective it is likely to capture before you get there, you've won unless you end up losing all your tanks somehow. I can not enter the hex 10,11 also not in the "T" mode! I will attachment the file! (Look below) --------------- It work only in ths way! Try this: Highlight the hex. Select Assault Menu - Begin Assault Select Assault Menu - Add to Assault - Select one of the tank units Select Assault Menu - Resolve Assault RE: English tanks wont not move? - O.Schmidt - 01-29-2016 https://www.theblitz.club/uploads/files/0d6/Kampf_II_2801.zip RE: English tanks wont not move? - ComradeP - 01-29-2016 Works fine for me, using that file. How are you trying to enter the hex? If you're using drag-and-drop movement, units can't enter the hex and you'll get a "can't move into hex containing enemy units" error in the lower left of the interface. If you select a unit and attempt to move into the hex through normal movement by clicking once, you'll get an assault pop-up. RE: English tanks wont not move? - Ricky B - 01-30-2016 And to clarify since it appears O.Schmidt is not using the click method - select any adjacent unit, right click on the objective and you will see a message regarding Unknown Assault Odds. That will set up an assault, required to attempt to remove the enemy unit and enter the hex. Of course, with units around 4 sides of the hex, the hidden enemy unit can't be forced out and must be destroyed. After the assault is resolved, the enemy unit will be visible also. Rick RE: English tanks wont not move? - O.Schmidt - 01-30-2016 I thought if a unit is adjacent to an enemy unit Is this visible! I have not yet understood this correctly click system! "I must now ins maneuver because I have to learn a lot!" Thank for the help! |
