That said, I only played a few games and then bought El Elamein and Market Garden, which I am enjoying, so I don't know if will be spending too much time on WSF. Do not ask when, as there are other series in front of this one! Only the terrain and unit counters have been reviewed currently. And I don't recall any Italian 43 scenario other than Sicily, so maybe a new scenario covering the advance up the Italian peninsular is in the works... Unit breakdowns/organizations: You have the organization table, all attached/assigned units are there. Units can be attached/detached by as low as companies if one wants, to form KGs/TFs. But the Gold versions will defeat my resistance. RE: Does anybody own War on the Southern Front? - Mr Grumpy - 08-17-2019 It was a real pity this series did not catch on at the club, one big issue was that neither the designer or playtesters were available to provide insights into how the rather unique way combat results were handled and because of the vacuum of information I believe many players became frustrated when the engine threw up results that did not seem to make sense and gave up. Perhaps with the launch of a new title someone involved in the design of this series might become available to help players new to the system get the best out of it?
