RE: Best Uses/Practices for: Small caliber Light Mortars - McIvan - 04-26-2007 The Brit 2inch is more like a grenade launcher than a mortar Bootie....could be (and often was) fired more or less horizontally. So you could shoot it at something five feet in front of you if you wished.
