Hi Peek; I have yet to play it, just started reading the manual today but from what I see you can play small scenarios for each year of the war. It is corps level though, so there is not battles like Verdun or Passchendale. From those who play it they say it is a hoot, but I can't say myself.

Thanks Weasel. I think I'll probably get this one, it sounds pretty good and WWI games are so rare that I don't think I could let it pass anyway.

Reading the Matrix forum for this game, there seems to be a problem with the game area filling only the middle of the screen with a huge margin round it, it seems you need to set your screen resolution to a different setting, worth a read i think.....:chin:

Yes this is true, I have noticed that even at 1280x1040 you don't see much, lots of scrolling. They could have done so much more with this game, like cut scenes. Hell if Talonsoft could use cut scenes for games made 10 years ago I don't know why Matrix couldn't with all the WW1 footage about.
