Okay, the T34/85 can stand its ground against a Panzer IVH from a distance, but due to its weaker optics and small amount of shells it won't be able to really use this as a tactic. In my opinion this is a actually valid tactic for the T-34/85. Consider that in a long range gunnery duel any commander worth his salt will probably have his tank hull down. Much beyond 500m the PZ IV wont' be able to get through the 90mm curved turret of the T-34, yet one hit from T-34 will still easily drill the turret of the PZ IV. |
