RE: PBEM campaign anyone ? - Fokkov - 06-26-2008 Set up in both games went Ok . just like a generated campaign purchase core , sent files , got them back and purchased non-core units. than set up , both games on turn 12 . Big "what if" comes when we finish and see how much repair points the winner/looser gets . Does the player whith the lowest points gets enough repair points to give him a fighting change the next round. Acc to the manual first 3 battles will allways be meeting engagements so no change digging in ![]() RE: PBEM campaign anyone ? - Cross - 06-26-2008 I completed two battles in a PBEM campaign and am now playing the first battle of a second camp. We had 2500 core points each, with 750 support points. The winner got about 900 repair/replacement points, the loser about 450 points. For human vs human campaign, I think it might work better the other way around, so the loser gets more repair points. Otherwise the loser will quickly dig a hole he can't get out of. Call it a handicap if you like. I believe in a campaign against the AI, the AI always gets to completely repair its forces? I will give SPCAMO some feedback regarding this, after a couple more games. Apart from the repair points issue; this is a fantastic feature, and adds a whole new dimension to the game. If you don't have the CD yet, this is a reason to get it. |
