RE: MapMod - Xaver - 10-23-2008 Von Nev, you try this??? http://web.telia.com/~u87221892/infocounters.htm are a more classic counters or use the older dont overwriting they :stir: RE: MapMod - Jison - 10-23-2008 von Nev Wrote:This mapmod is really great but for me it does take some getting used to. I am "testing" it in my K43 Ostkrieg tourney game before I implement it in all my games. Glad you like it, Marty. And as with everything new, it can take a little time to get used to the mod, but that is to be expected if you have no previous experience with it. Hang in there. About the bunkers, pillboxes, trenches etc: Yes, I guess this is the most controversial thing in the mod, and it seem to divide the users into two camps. If you prefer the classic counters instead, they are, as Xaver said, availiable at my download page. They are made by Volcano Man himself, so quality is garanteed. :) Just so you know that you do have a choise. And as Foul said, I'm constantly trying to improve on the mod. It's a work in progress. Jison RE: MapMod - Hadge - 10-23-2008 Gents The combination of the PzCam/MC system with Volcanos art mods and Jisons Mapmod, takes the entire experience to another level Yet another example of TEAM Together - everyone - achieves - more For all we critique this hobby - just for one moment - take some time to consider how many hours these guys spend at the keyboard for our benefit !! 15/10 to Jison, (Ed) VM, and the chaps at HPS C RE: MapMod - Gordons HQ - 10-23-2008 It took a little getting used to but now I am well into it, I think it's great. As previously stated the map mod along with VM's mods, really increases game playability and enjoyment for me at least. RE: MapMod - Jison - 10-29-2008 Ok guys, I have messed around with the elevations a bit now, and have found a level I think I could live with. It is no way near the elevation in the original - eg still no mountains at Kursk - it is just a slight but needed increase, and it really makes a difference ingame. http://web.telia.com/~u87221892/Images/__normal.jpg http://web.telia.com/~u87221892/Images/__soft.jpg http://web.telia.com/~u87221892/Images/__mud.jpg http://web.telia.com/~u87221892/Images/__snow.jpg All titles updated: http://web.telia.com/~u87221892/ Jison RE: MapMod - Bushido - 10-29-2008 Jison, just downloaded You newest version. It was fantastic now it is uberfantastic. Can't play without. Thanks again! RE: MapMod - Bidermann - 10-29-2008 well done they look fine RE: MapMod - Liebchen - 10-30-2008 Jison, would it be possible to add a "download all" link? RE: MapMod - Jison - 10-30-2008 Tired of downloading 17 separate titles time and time again, are we now? The thing is I have precious little server space (50mb total) and I need to reserve it for the site itself, together with all the images that comes with it, as well as for all the present and future titles. So the last thing I want is yet another large file to store, especially when it would be copies of things already on the server. So... I guess the only thing I can offer you is a promise not to update MapMod as often as I have recently... :) Jison RE: MapMod - Dog Soldier - 10-30-2008 Jison, If you would like I will find a way to host your work here on the blitz server. Just give me your permission in and email with a list of the files and links. I am not sure all your work is in this one thread. Dog Soldier |
