RE: Moscow '42 Released - Indragnir - 11-03-2012 Game is fantastic. You'll see how thrilling are the small/medium/bigger scenarios. The summer offensive is at the same level as winter offensive, it has less scenarios but the quality is out there. OoB is a masterwork, Strela puts a lot of fine work on it, you can trust the man!. Art is truly amazing I'm changing names to some art for other PzC games right now :) And now, of course, the monster campaign, a friend of mine told once: make a game 3000 turns long and they will play it!. He was right!. Cheers Mark. This game is very well suited for team games, as you can check. César RE: Moscow '42 Released - Jison - 11-06-2012 Just wanted you guys to know that MapMod for Moscow'42 are ready - you know where to find it! Btw, this looks like the perfect title for me. I have a certain soft spot for large, preferably HUGE, east front campaigns! My compliments to Strela! RE: Moscow '42 Released - JackHud - 11-07-2012 Remove the protection. Activation is the s**t. RE: Moscow '42 Released - 76mm - 11-07-2012 (11-07-2012, 01:17 AM)JackHud Wrote: Remove the protection. Activation is the shit. Um, what's the problem with the activation? I dowloaded, put in the serial number, and installed, just like every other game I've bought recently. Am I missing something? RE: Moscow '42 Released - Aditia Holdem - 11-07-2012 He is saying he agrees I think. Protection (DRM) can lead to all kinds of stupid issues. Online activation usually does not. RE: Moscow '42 Released - Nitram Draw - 11-08-2012 Damn that is one big map! RE: Moscow '42 Released - ComradeP - 11-09-2012 I have a question about casualties/how sustainable offensives are, before I take the plunge and purchase my first PzC title. Based on two of the Kharkov '43 AAR's, it seems casualties are fairly high (for example: the Axis player lost over 15.000 men in a week with a small number of divisions, the total KIA figure for February 1943 is documented as being 42.000) and destroying entire Soviet divisions through prolonged combat or backhand blows is more rule than exception in some situations. Of course, it's a different game and Panzer divisions are nowhere near as strong in Moscow '42, but the Soviets do need to attack more German infantry divisions, in better positions or in natural defensive terrain, than in Kharkov '43. I read "Replacement 1%" as being a 1% increase in strength per day when resting, correct me if I'm wrong there, which makes me wonder what kinds of mechanics are in place to make the Soviet winter offensive sustainable in Moscow '42, because casualties seem to be high enough for attacking units of a mediocre to low quality to suffer fairly significant losses in a short amount of time, which is why I'm wondering how the Soviets could sustain a push for at least a month in some sectors. |
