Overall, very unbalanced in favour of the Axis player. The Allied player is forced to enter in a single location along a narrow road with no easy way off the road since it is lined with hedges and trees. The battle would be a lot better by giving the Allied player an entire dismounted company (perhaps with a pioneer squad or two to clear obstacles) and a large deployment area to choose from along the edge. I sent my ideas about how to tweak play balance to scenario author. We'll see what kind of scenario gets released. An entertaining scenario, plenty of options for both sides. Allied side could possibly use another platoon of infantry since they have the burden of attacking. |
