RE: Modern Campaigns - MapMod revisited - KAreil - 05-31-2019 For me the left one looks best, thanks for the effort. Fulda Gap is done, had to figure out an approach - just a hobbyist - and it is working. Will make an additional mod that can be installed on top of the MC MapMod revisited files - so 2d 100% only, at least for now. Tomorrow or later today I’ll work on the other files and upload everything in one go. RE: Modern Campaigns - MapMod revisited - Simulacra53 - 05-31-2019 With a little more refinement, to give it a little depth - at 100% At 200% with in game hex on. RE: Modern Campaigns - MapMod revisited - Simulacra53 - 05-31-2019 After some refinements the result for FG85 turned out a bit better than I expected. For those who like the Jison MapMod colors, but prefer to have no imbedded Hex pattern. Click to download: x2DTerrain_NoHex_FG85.zip Best to be used with Volcanoman and my Jison MapMod Revisited mods. Other MC titles to follow upon completion - with both a desert and non desert version for ME67. RE: Modern Campaigns - MapMod revisited - Simulacra53 - 05-31-2019 These are the other terrain files, to be used like explained in the previous post. Middle East '67, Korea '85 and North Germain Plain '85 x2DTerrain_NoHex_MC.zip Desert alternative for Middle East '67 x2DTerrain_Desert_NoHex_ME67.zip These are only partial, you need the Revisited files to be complete. RE: Modern Campaigns - MapMod revisited - wiggum - 05-31-2019 Great work ! RE: Modern Campaigns - MapMod revisited - Simulacra53 - 05-31-2019 (05-31-2019, 10:13 PM)wiggum Wrote: Great work ! Thanks, it was not my initial plan, but I enjoyed working on these terrain files. At least now I can easily experiment with new terrain colors if I feel the urge to be more original - including PzC and FWWC. I am no Jison, but enjoying the journey! Left new terrain without hex, right with embedded hex. Now I have full control over both my colors and patterns - no more only copy and paste. RE: Modern Campaigns - MapMod revisited - KAreil - 06-01-2019 Fantastic work. I'll try them as soon as I get to my PC. RE: Modern Campaigns - MapMod revisited - TMinus One - 06-02-2019 Thank you. Great stuff! As soon I saw your Desert alternative for Middle East '67, I bought the game at Tiller's website. It looks fabulous! Not only it looks good, it is also a great title. Very interesting battles and campaigns. Highly recommended in combination with the mods. RE: Modern Campaigns - MapMod revisited - Simulacra53 - 06-02-2019 Glad you guys like it. Keep in mind that most of what you see in the ME67 desert mod is done by Jison for the recently updated PzC Gold games - Tobruk, El Alamein and Tunisia. MC games deserve a Gold update, maybe this helps a little. If there is any demand for the hex version, let me know and I’ll create a set for that - or maybe create a combined set that includes all alternatives. |
