Regarding the outcome of the air attack, wouldn't our "Rec" element shadowing the armor column be able to report the result, as well as a report from the pilots that made the attack? Let us know! Thanks and have a good one! Regarding the number of aircraft we can order, it would appear we could spend all 8 Reiforcement Points on them so we would get four air missions/2 points per air mission! See Reif Excerpt below: Stuke Dive Bomber JU 87D Veteran 2 * *Will only arrive when weather permits. You are purchasing an air mission not just a plane. You are assured 1 plane but may receive more, up to 3 planes. You imrove your chances of getting more planes by spending more points. You will always get at least one. All planes received will arrive in one battle, your choice, but you must choose one before the end of the day or loose the air mission with no refund of point spent. But, since we are facing a lot of armor in our current engagements in the town, airport, and vicinity, I was going to suggest that we take 6 points to attack the column of Tanks to the west that are moving behing us, and 2 points to provide air support to our current battles, so that we can maybe make a dent in the Russian Armor attacking us there. RE: Germans ONLY "Little Saturn" No Russians Pls - Glider - 04-24-2010 I think that we should not use a lot of our points for chancy air support as the outcome is doubtful and the surviving tanks would still be able to proceed unimpeded. I think we should buy an inf company and a 105mm howitzer platoon and place it where it can block further progress of that tank column. We should accept the loss of the western road and concentrate on defending the south-western route. Most importantly, we should not abandon the town centre as we would lose too many victory flags. We stay where we are, redeploy a few of our units and buy a new inf company+howitzers to stop the enemy. The situation is simply not as critical as to warrant using 8 points on air missions that are going to be there for only one turn. If we buy troops they are there to stay. |
