RE: NGP Total War In Germany scenario at the H2H. - Radetzky - 04-12-2007 aaron although this NATO OOB is from '89, it's quite detailed and states which units were earmarked for the AMF. http://orbat.com/site/history/historical/nato/oob1989.html better than nothing, i'd say. with a quick search for 'AMF', you can jump to the relevant passages in the text. cheers j RE: NGP Total War In Germany scenario at the H2H. - Aaron - 04-12-2007 thats funny jan i just dowloaded and was reading that same document when u told me about it RE: NGP Total War In Germany scenario at the H2H. - Radetzky - 04-12-2007 -smile- RE: NGP Total War In Germany scenario at the H2H. - Radetzky - 04-12-2007 aaron while you're still working on it, just a few more observations on the OOB i think the AMX recon tanks were not used anymore by the dutch in 1985, someone did a winter mod for NGP with an accurate dutch OOB and he exchanged them all. the east german divisons shouldn't have an attached air assault company. the NVA had a single so called 'Luftsturmregiment' at its disposal and had to distribute the troops as seen fit. since helicopters were in very very short supply, i think the two exisiting battalions on NVA army level are more than adequate. and the number of Hind attack helos was somewhere around sixty in the mid-eighties, and even less operational. so maybe you should dump the divisional assets too. cheers jan RE: NGP Total War In Germany scenario at the H2H. - Occam - 04-12-2007 Read the NVA synopsis on wiki German is not my 1st tounge but im a reader. ;) For Radetzky to determine 60 helos total to EG forces.Is a damn fine piece of work. Aaron RE: NGP Total War In Germany scenario at the H2H. - Aaron - 04-13-2007 in the next version the graphic issue will be solved, i already went threw the oob and switch it to be compatable with volcano mans alterative art packs a and b, there will only be 12 units with out photos but that fits easily in one file. if u already downloaded all the other files u already have those 12. other changes coming: 1. elimination of my phantom brigade the 197th 2. moved 4th can mech south to gelnhaussen (historical) and assigned to 5 corp 3. modification to berlin oob 4. modification to ace oob (bringing the italians into the game) 5. the 101st airborne will no longer be a reinforcement it will now be Operation Screaming Eagle with 3-4 options for deployment 6. the 82nd and 101st will take a little longer to deploy (less units coming in over a longer period) Plus hoping to get some gameplay done in next couple of weeks and can tweak any issues u guys can come up with, plus thinking of other strategys Aaron RE: NGP Total War In Germany scenario at the H2H. - Radetzky - 04-14-2007 gents just a quick update of some of my bitmaps, also did the missing dutch and danish unit boxes, Vielen Dank again to Thomas Wulfes for sharing his great work on those unit boxes. cheers jan RE: NGP Total War In Germany scenario at the H2H. - Radetzky - 04-15-2007 far too much spare time yesterday night lead to some horrible Frankenstein conversions on my desktop. but now the danes, belgians and dutch have their own infantry pics - well, sort of... RE: NGP Total War In Germany scenario at the H2H. - Aaron - 05-08-2007 Im back, relocated back in michigan been traveling all over the US the last couple weeks and pretty much been drunk for 3 weeks havnt gotten anything done, got the updated oob for the dutch from Jan and will be putting that in the next updated, i just need 1 good day to get things done if anyone has any other problems with the game let me know especially with play balance just wondering if theres any problems in that area thanks Aaron |
