Yes at least 2 would be fine.
But can that be set? I thought the minimum range is somehow based on the overall range or size of an artillery piece.

It is done in mobhack under "sabot". Two hexes is much too short, 100m would seriously injure the shooter just from concussion alone. I have set them as per above (6 and 8 respectively).

Really? I must admit I have no clue how strong the effect was, the warhead at least was only 50kg but indeed it was layout it to effect with concussion "Druckwirkung (Gasschlag)" instead of shrapnel or so.
As mentioned the ranges in Stalingrad are said to have been 120 to 300 meters with a maximum range of 600 meters, I guess more wasn't possible when firing them out of the boxes as they couldn't be raised that far.

Question is for what launcher were these ranges, out of the box I doubt they could be fired up to 2km or 2.2km and that they had a minimum range at all except for making sure that the troops who fired them were not harmed.
I assume the ranges give are either for the "schwere Wurfgerät 40" or "schwere Wurfgerät 41" or even for firing them from the so called "Wurfrahmen 40" what used a Sd.Kfz. 251 as firing plattform.

I guess the 32cm with flame oil could have even used shorter ranges as it ignited an area of 200 m² what is a square of about 14x14 meters.

The ranges in the game are 40 hexes, 2000m. As an example, we did a danger close exercise where we had arty firing over our heads and landing 50m-100m in front of us, these were 105mm (10.5cm), at the end of the exercise we were unloading our tank and we found two large pieces of shrapnel about 8-10cm long in our vehicle tarp. We could also feel the slight 'whump' when the round landed.

Also got to remember is that you cannot adjust each unit, only the weapon itself. So right now the NBwfr has a minimum range of 0, by me changing the rocket itself to 6 or 8 it changes all units that fire that rocket so now the Nbwfr has that minimum range.
