RE: GREEN LIGHT TOURNEY - PoorOldSpike - 07-23-2008 COMBAT FOOTAGE- The River CMant's gun nobbles one of my panzers on turn 1 but now that it's revealed its position, its life expectancy can be measured in seconds; already a storm of tracer is heading its way.. Inset- followed by HE shells and it's blown away.. RE: GREEN LIGHT TOURNEY - PoorOldSpike - 07-23-2008 COMBAT FOOTAGE- The City Marshall666's Stuka pilot gives a breathtaking display of precision bombing, dropping a big egg smack on the flag in the middle of my Russians.. RE: GREEN LIGHT TOURNEY - PoorOldSpike - 07-24-2008 COMBAT FOOTAGE- The City The danger of driving fast into Russian reinf areas in the hope of catching them still deploying is that you never know what you might run into as my halftrack and panzergrenadiers find out at the hands of Panzer Dan's 37mm flak gun.. Meanwhile the halftrack's mate on the right discovers that the danger of being too close to the enemy carries the risk that you might get caught up in your own Stukas attack, here the bomb blast kills a crewman.. RE: GREEN LIGHT TOURNEY - PoorOldSpike - 07-24-2008 COMBAT FOOTAGE- The River Herroberst's Russian gun (near flag) coolly waits until my panzers trundle past then mercilessly shoots one in the back.. "Commendable, commendable".. RE: GREEN LIGHT TOURNEY - herroberst - 07-24-2008 I placed the gun to drop the bridge but it fired too slowly for that and I placed it in such a way as to avoid direct fire from your advancing hordes. When I saw that dropping the bridge wasn't going to work I slewed the gun around to shoot at the rear of your advancing panzers. At the same time, my infantry's primary mission is to protect the gun as they would be able to do little more but I fear the gun and infantry are not long for this world. Further down the map, your PSW233 was destroyed by the 37mm AA gun after overrunning my 57mm antitank gun. Hoping the trusty 37 will do in your Stuka. RE: GREEN LIGHT TOURNEY - PoorOldSpike - 07-24-2008 COMBAT FOOTAGE- The City Hedgehog's Russian 37mm flak gun gives my panzergrenadiers a warm welcome as they storm into town..
