RE: Ladder Question - Mike Abberton - 06-28-2006 The ELO is a ranking system based on the chess ranking system but adapted for our ladder. Your ranking improves more when you win against opponents with a higher ELO than you and less when you beat opponents with a lower ELO. If you look back in the message board there are some threads with a more detailed explanation.
