Playing sans disc - Tanker - 07-29-2006 It's annoying to have to keep putting in the cd for cmak when I want to play. cmbb can be played without the cd in the drive. Is it possible to "fix it" so that the same can be done with cmak? RE: Playing sans disc - Copper - 07-29-2006 go visit the blitz FTP section (be patient it takes a while to load) go to MODS folder choose CM folder DL the no CD file for your version (euro or us) unzip with winace ( if you don't have winace, you can get the self installing freeware version located in that same folder) copy the file from the zip into your Cm folder (AFTER you make a BU copy of your original exe file) play without the CD RE: Playing sans disc - Tanker - 07-30-2006 Thanks RD. edit: The only mod I found there was a CMBO end game randomizer, not the no cd one.:conf: RE: Playing sans disc - Hulldown - 07-30-2006 Sounds like you clicked mods from the download page.That won't work. Click downloads,from the downloads page click public ftp.Then click mods then combat mission.Right click and copy to get the files. I tried these last night.Cmbb one works great but the Cmak one seems to be v1.01 instead of 1.03. RE: Playing sans disc - Copper - 07-30-2006 Thanks for the heads up! RE: Playing sans disc - spike1234(FGM) - 07-30-2006 The CMAK euro one works fine. With the CMBB euro version I get some writing in German and then when I go to play I have no scenarios listed. RE: Playing sans disc - Copper - 07-30-2006 I can't assist you with the euro version, as when I try to use it to start my game it gives me a total black out screen. Perhaps some of the Euro users can provide me with a good NO CD exe file to upload to the server ? RE: Playing sans disc - Balkan Warrior - 08-01-2006 HI! You can also download a "Virtual CD Drive" program, and load the CM CDs on to that drive! Then they are always loaded for the game! You do not need the Regular CDs anymore! Do a google search for Virtual CD Drivies! They are great for games and music CDs as well! Hope this helps! Have a good one!
