No Flag Tourney update - PUG - 08-06-2006 Half the games (27) in the first 3 rounds have been completed. Only 27 more to go and all these have been assigned. 3 draws, 10 Allied wins and 14 Axis wins so far. The top 2 or 3 players will have a playoff. Today there are 2 players with 8 points each, 1 player with 7 points and all the remaining 13 players all have only 4 points or less. In all there were 4 dropouts, 1 player has finished all his 6 games in these 3 rounds and 1 player entered as a substitute early in the tourney. I still hope to have the finalists decided by the end of September. For next month's update I will have the results of the poll I am taking from the players about how they like or dislike the games without any flags. Based on the poll results I may run another tourney with 2000 point games, smaller maps and time limits (like 8 weeks) to finish a game but basically the same setup as this one.
