Modern Campaigns Question - Landser34 - 08-09-2006 I was wondering why cant Airpower destroy Bridges in the modern campaign series with the precision guided weapons that are available RE: Modern Campaigns Question - Steel God - 08-09-2006 In a nutshell...game designers decision not to model air power beyond it's ground support role. As a further bit of fat to chew...none of the MC games is based in a year post 1985 (so far) and in 1985 those precision munitions were neither plentiful nor very precise, so there's not a lot of design justification for JT to change his mind on including that facet of air power in his games. As we all know, necessity is what drives changes to this engine. Paul |
