H2H - New scenario available for playtest! - Valor - 08-12-2006 New WF scenario is available for playtesting. Author: Full Auto Title: Taking the Prize Repeated attempts by the Afrika Korps in May of 1941 to take the vital port of Tobruk proved fruitless. The Australians had held the perimeter and defied all German attempts to take the city. But now in 1942 the initiative was with the Afrika Korps. After outflanking the Gazala line and defeating the British forces in and around the "Cauldron" and the Knightsbridge Box. Rommel had out generalled and out manuvered the 8th Army and in a series of stunning victories. He had turned the tides of war against the British forces in North Africa. Now The Afrika Korps stood poised to capture Tobruk. The Australians had been replaced with the 2nd South African Division and the outer defensive perimeter had been breached. Facing merciless Stuka and Ju 88 attacks the South Africans had been steadily forced back toward the port and now they were holding the inner defensive line around the city. The 21st Panzer and the 132nd "Ariete" Armored Division were now ready to make the final dash to take the prize. Sounds interesting, isn't it? Good luck :smg:
