Stalingrad - Lowlander - 08-21-2006 Playing the campaign game as the Russian I've had a Corps become fixed round about two days ago. Thought I'd wait until it was released from this mode, then decided when the Corps attachments option came around to attach it to a different Army HQ. However this has had no impact on it's status so far !!!. RE: Stalingrad - Maddoggie - 08-21-2006 one of the mech corps in the southern attack group fixes and unfixes according to the scenario. I don't believe attaching it to a different army will make any difference. You just have to live with it. RE: Stalingrad - Lowlander - 08-21-2006 Thanks, was gettin a little bit impatient !!!. Right - the fact that the unit in question stopped when it should in hindsite kept going is exactly why we added to the game. We also took care to make sure that players couldn't employ gamey tactics to overcome obstacles or curves we had intended and desigend into the game. Rest assure the Soviet high command was every bit as anxious to get those units in question moving again. Glenn RE: Stalingrad - Richrd - 08-21-2006 Hey, Glenn. Nice vacation? RE: Stalingrad - Lowlander - 08-21-2006 Alright Glenn, The only excuse I have is that I waited until all the other units were released before attempting a Corps attachment almost a day later. Was'nt sure if this was built into the campaign game or not. Also I don't have any good reference source on this battle. |
