To my opponents: Unconditional Surrender - Abatis - 09-07-2006 Guys Sorry to do this, but I have to bail out on our games. Please report a maj. V for yourself. I'm currently ronovating a house that I am buying, and packing to move into it. For the next few months I just cannot be a reliable player, and rather than leave you hanging, I choose surrender. I also withdraw from the SFS tourney. Back later on this winter! Thanks Abatis RE: To my opponents: Unconditional Surrender - Smedley - 09-07-2006 Good luck with everything! Hurry back, you will surely be missed! Rob RE: To my opponents: Unconditional Surrender - Herr Straße Laufer - 09-07-2006 Brian, God speed! Return to us when you can? :smoke: RE: To my opponents: Unconditional Surrender - Gilgawath - 09-07-2006 Brian, Sorry to hear of your withdrawal from action. I shall record our game as a draw. Good luck with the renovations. If you wish to continue in the SFS tourney and can return to action before Round 4 I will be willing to take you as an opponent and agree a draw for the round, if this is acceptable with the others. Tony RE: To my opponents: Unconditional Surrender - Valor - 09-07-2006 Good luck, Brain I hope to see you around Slawek RE: To my opponents: Unconditional Surrender - Scraps - 09-07-2006 Brian, since our game was only on turn 4 or 5, I will log it as a draw. Hope all goes well with the house and let me know when you are back on line and ready to duke it out again... Mike aka Scraps RE: To my opponents: Unconditional Surrender - Abatis - 09-08-2006 Hey guys, thanks for the kind sentiments. Mike and Tony, thanks for the draws -it did pain me to offer up all of those defeats! I'm finding that to be common across the boards; offers to hold the game or offers of draw...THAT is why I'll be back to this Club specifically, those kinds of attitudes toward the games. When we care more about the experience (gaming and fraternizing)then the actual result(win lose draw), it says a helluva lot for the maturity level and mind set of this place. The Blitz is the best, hands down for finding history geeks of my own stripe to hang with and re enact history! I look forward to renewing our correspondences later this year, or early in the next! (voice over of Arnold Schwarzeneger) "I'll be Bach!" (you be Beethoven) LOL Off to work. B. |
