Yes I found it to be amazing too. These traces only seem to be visible on untouched moor lands though. Most of these lands have been "cultivated" after WW2 unfortunately.

Maybe one day, a game with those graphics. Would be nice, always enjoyed Close Combat where trenches looked exactly like the above photo.

Thank you for posting those pictures at your website. It was great to get a ground-level perspective of the trenches after seeing the Google shots.
