The Ultimate War Sim - DogsOfWar - 10-05-2006 Off topic, I know. Hopefully I won't be flamed too much.... I downloaded the demo for "A Company of Heroes" and found it fascinating in a nightmarish, deju vu kind of way. This game reminds me of Command and Conquer: Red Alert but with better graphics. IMHO, graphics aside, Combat Mission is by far the superior game BUT.... it also brought to mind a link I ran into a while back while I was wasting my employer's time searching for ways to defeat my opponents in CM (Hey, I'm a newbie, I need all the help I can get!). While my searching didn't help my tactical prowess, (I'm getting shelled back to the stone age and into little tiny pieces by Risnervich ), this is an interesting and entertaining read.
