Internet Rock Radio site - Big Dawg - 10-05-2006 I no longer play with the CS sounds in the background. Jeepster & Otlig overrunning my positions is less painful while listening to some of my favorite "classic" rock radio in the background. I guess when you are 40 something everything is a "classic" or "oldie". I found "Accuradio" and can select from several music categories. It even allows me to block some of the artists that no longer do anything for me. (Sorry Stevie Nicks fans.) Give it a try. http://www.accuradio.com * This email was not intended to offend anyone. RE: Internet Rock Radio site - Von Luck - 10-06-2006 AWWWWWW Give me a break who couldnt like Fleetwood Mac. RE: Internet Rock Radio site - Deturk - 10-06-2006 RE: Internet Rock Radio site - Big Dawg - 10-06-2006 Thanks. I got the live version of Smoke On The Water cranked. I like Fleetwood Mac & Nicks in Fleetwood Mac (just not her solo work). RE: Internet Rock Radio site - McIvan - 10-06-2006 I thoroughly recommend www.pandora.com. This is an awesome site which has a huge range of music all categorised in up to 200 different ways. You select a group or song you like, and the program plays songs that match the categories of the group of song you entered. You then train it a little while with thumbs up or down to songs, and you get an ad free radio station that only plays the type of stuff you like. Each person can have up to five different "stations" for their user name. It's simply brilliant....best idea in radio for a long long time. BTW its only open to US citizens and halfheartedly requires you to prove this by submitting a US Zip code. This does not stop anyone for long. RE: Internet Rock Radio site - Jeepster777 - 10-06-2006 RE: Internet Rock Radio site - Cam - 10-06-2006 Fellow gamers........ Smooth Jazz and Acid Jazz is also good for gaming. Already did the classic 70,s stuff and the heavy metal genre Give it a go Cam RE: Internet Rock Radio site - Fubar1 - 10-07-2006 A better one is pandora.com. Select a song or artist, then they play music similar to that style. Type in Metallica, hear bands you might not know about with the same style. Type in Deep Purple, hear bands that sound like "Smoke on the Water" RE: Internet Rock Radio site - Big Dawg - 10-07-2006 I will give it a try. Thanks. |
