New Scenario on the Approved list! - Mr Grumpy - 12-04-2006 Hello All, Another of my edited scenarios has made it through testing onto the approved list, you can download it by clicking on the link to the list in the sticky at the top of the forum, enjoy :) Alam Halfa-Last Try For The Nile El Alamein position, August 30th 1942: Rommel was frustrated by his lack of supplies, receiving only a fifth of the requirement. It would have made sense to withdraw to Fuka to shorten the supply line, but Hitler would not let any of his commanders give up any ground for any reason. On the other hand, he had received some replacements and the two sides were at the most balanced they would ever be in the Desert War. The longer he waited, the more solid the Allies line at El Alamein became, so for Rommel the only alternative was to attack while he still had the strength left to make the attack. Montgomery had used time well to prepare his new command for defense, and this time the Allies would be waiting for the "right hook".
